Information regarding the 11th Fennoscandian Exploration and Mining (FEM
2017) Conference in Levi, Finland (31 Oct - 2 Nov) found below. 5 students
are eligible to go from each Nordic country. MSc students are preferred,
but PhD students can also apply (and have been taken in the past).

Dear NordMin national coordinators,



NordMin is pleased to announce scholarships to Nordic students interested
in attending the 11th Fennoscandian Exploration and Mining (FEM 2017)
Conference, 31 October - 2 November 2017, Levi, Finland.

Eligible for scholarships are students (preferably MSc students) who, in
one way or another, are studying the mining industry in their thesis.

NordMin will award 30 scholarships in total (5 per each Nordic country)
with a max. of 10.000DKK to each student, in order to cover their travel,
accommodation and registration costs.

The students interested, should submit an application (attached) including
a brief description of their studies, their motivation for attending FEM
2017 and an estimated costs breakdown, by March 24, 2017 the latest, to
betty.christakopoulou at ltu.se

You may find attached the announcement and the application form.

Could you please spread the word among students in your respective
countries?
