[Folda] A warm welcome and planned activities for this semester

Dear our fabulous Folda members,

The new semester just started. Hope you all have a great time during summer.

For new Folda members, welcome :) 
For old Folda members, welcome back :)

Folda is a student association for graduate students in Earth Sciences at the University of Iceland, focusing mainly on masters and doctoral students in geology, geophysics and relevant subjects. We will send science trip notifications, lecture information, activity information and other important information through email. 
We also share a facebook group with Flóki (association for graduate students in Life and Environment sciences).

For this year, we will have:
Science trips to relevant organizations, normally on FridWelcome ay afternoon.
Boardgame Night: probably every week, but not sure which night is better, any suggestion?
Some social activities, including Christmas party.

If you have some ideas about these activities, or like to propose something else, feel free to discuss with us. We hope to hear from you!!!

Finally,  may I kindly ask: if you know someone who is a Earth Sciences graduate student and does not know about the group, could you let them know the group and let us add them in the mailing list?
And for those who do not want to receive these emails and are not a graduate student at the department anymore, feel free to unsubscribe the mailing list.
