Hello everybody
Next Friday, November 11th, Sune Tamm Polar law candidate at the University
of Akureyri will visit us from 9:15-10:15. Sune has also been Science
Planner for the United States Antarctic Program, Field Camp Manager on Mt.
Erebus and Polar Field Guide for the British Antarctic Survey. Sune will
give a 30-40 min talk about his experience on Antarctica as well as
describing possible research opportunities opening to the Icelandic
research community, by Iceland becoming part of the Antarctic Treaty. The
talk will be followed by discussion with Sune. The meeting will be in the
meeting room, 3rd floor in Askja.
