[Folda] Hjólað í Háskólann/ Cycle to School 2016

Evening!

First of all, I do apologize for the last minute advertisement of this
event, I only received the information from the organizer's yesterday late
afternoon and then completely forgot about it until now.

The annual event Cycle to School will take place Wednesday (tomorrow) to
Friday, where student associations of HÍ will cycle for the gold. This
event is organized by the Environmental and Transportation Committee of
UI’s Student Council.

The goal of Cycle to School 2016 is to motivate and inspire students to use
health and environmentally friendly transport systems. Points are given for
trips to and/or from the University if they are taken by cycling, walking
or by Strætó, further information about rules are given below. Folda has it
own registration form, where we can fill in our points at the end of day.

Basically, if you walk, cycle or take the bus to and from university in the
next 3 days, please go to the following registration form and enter in the
points you scored:

Score points are calculated based on the distance walked or cycled every day

Walking: 2 points/km (minimum 1 km/day)
Cycling: 1 point/km (minimum 1 km/day)
Bus: 2 points/day (maximum 2 points/day)

Standings will be displayed on Hjólað í Háskólann facebook page during the
competition. Points will have to be enlisted before 16:00 the 18th of March.
