Hello all,


During the last Autumn, a group of PhD students working under the
supervision of Þorvaldur Þórðarson got an idea of formalizing a research
group around their scientific collaboration.

This research group is now called simply as *Storkuberg*, and today we
published a website of our own: http://storkuberg.hi.is/

The main focus of the site is to promote our scientific work to a larger
audience, but we also hope that our site will become *the blog to follow* for
those interested about volcanology in Iceland.
