This week's Friday JHI seminar (25th January 2013) will be given by 
Bergur Einarsson, entitled "*Investigating subglacial hydrology with 
discharge time-series from glacier covered catchments in Iceland*"
A short description: An introduction on subglacial hydrology and its 
effect on glacier dynamics will be presented. A status report will be 
given about a PhD study on subglacial hydrology at the Icelandic 
Meteorological Office and the University of Iceland.
The talk will be at 12.20 in the 3rd floor meeting room of Askja (close 
to the main entrance). We look forward to seeing you there!
