This week's Friday JHI seminar (25th January 2013) will be given by
Bergur Einarsson, entitled "<b>Investigating subglacial hydrology
with discharge time-series from glacier covered catchments in
Iceland</b>"<br>
A short description: An introduction on subglacial hydrology and its
effect on glacier dynamics will
be presented. A status report will be given about a PhD study on
subglacial
hydrology at the Icelandic Meteorological Office and the University
of Iceland.<br>
The talk will be at 12.20 in the 3rd floor meeting room of Askja
(close to the main entrance). We look forward to seeing you there!<br>
