Ég sendi póst nýlega um að von væri á tveimur erlendum fræðimeönnum þeim 
Jacek Luczak, við Poznan School of Economics, og Ma?gorzata Mi?niakiewicz, 
frá Cracow University of Economics. 

Þau koma hingað á mánudag og munu kynna sig og sitt starf í ODDA - stofu 
206, kl. 12:00 mánudaginn 5. maí. 

Þau vilja kanna möguleikana á samstarfi við fræðimenn hjá Háskóla Íslands 
og verða hér í þrjá daga, hér að neðan eru upplýsingar um þau.

I am currently a professor at Pozna? University of Economics in Poznan, 
Poland. My general areas of expertise are listed below. However, I will 
customize the offering to best fit your needs. We can discuss potential 
areas of research work and/or lectures: 
1. Quality Management: TQM, QMS, ISO 9001, Integrated Management Systems, 
QMS in the automotive industry (ISO/ TS 16949, APQP, PPAP etc.), Quality 
Tools (FMEA, Ishikawa diagram etc. 
2. Process Management: Process mapping, modeling, optimization, processes 
monitoring and control.   
3. Information Security Management: ISMS ISO/IEC 27001, risk management, 
implementation and development of ISMS. 
4. The possibility of introducing hyper-carbonated supplements for 
athletes. This is topic is being realized internationally with our partner 
from Ukraine, Kraków University of Economics (Poland) and a sugar producer 
- Pfeifer&Langen Poland. This is a project with great potential, at the 
initial stage of implementation. We are looking for the possibility of its 
development in developed countries. 
I have developed and published several case studies in this area based on 
my consulting work with Polish businesses. 
In time period 2009 ? 2013 I was managing big research projects realized 
at Poznan University of Economics. I have participated several times in 
the Mobility Teacher Program and other academic exchange assignments 
involving academic institutions in the US, the Czech Republic, Spain, 
Finland, Lithuania, Ukraine and Belarus. At present I am the leader of the 
project realized by Pozna? University of Economics along with its partners 
Dnipropetrovsk National University (Ukraine) and the Russian Academy of 
Sciences. I will be happy to provide you with my current CV detailing my 
publications and areas of experience.

Malgorzata Misniakiewicz

I am currently a Post Doc at Cracow University of Economics, Poland, the 
same faculty as Jacek - Faculty of Commodity Science, but different 
department - Department of Food Commodity Science.
As we have some common interests it happens to us to cooperate form time 
to time, do scientific research and write some articles together. Now we 
are preparing certain shared project and we are looking for international 
cooperants to it.
My general areas of expertise are listed below. However, I will customize 
the offering to best fit your needs. We can discuss potential areas of 
research work and/or lectures:

1. Quality management in agri-food sector. Innovations in Food Industry, 
future trends, novel food, causes of low level of innovativeness in food 
sector and solutions to it.

2. Food Product Development - from the concept to the marketplace - 
project, analysis, case studies, cooperation with the practice - 
exchanging experiences with you in this area I find invaluable

3. Food analysis and quality control methods. Health safety of food, 
especially bakery products.

4. Nutritive value of organic food. Traditional and regional food.

5. Consumers' preferences on the market of foodstuffs - methods of 
analysis and results applications.

6. Functional food, espcecially mood food, beauty food, food for athletes.

6. The possibility of introducing hyper-carbonated supplements for 
athletes. This is topic is being realized internationally with our partner 
from Ukraine, Pozna? University of Economics (Poland) and a sugar producer 
- Pfeifer&Langen Poland. This is a project with great potential, at the 
initial stage of implementation with real possibility of 
commercialization. We are looking for the possibility of its development 
with interational partners in developed countries.
