Please find attached details of the Utrecht Network/University of Hull 
Summer School.  I would be grateful if you could circulate the attached 
information widely within your institution.
 
The summer school is a programme of Academic English for postgraduate 
students (post doctoral and doctoral) and newly qualified academic staff 
(who have been appointed to their positions within the last 24 months). 
There is one place on the summer school guaranteed per Utrecht Network 
institution.  The summer school will take place from Monday 30 June ? 
Friday 11 July 2014.  There is a fee for participants (?450) which 
includes accommodation costs.  Further funding opportunities for students 
may be available:
 
·         Through Erasmus funding (Staff Mobility) if students have a work 
contract with their institution (this would need to be arranged with the 
home institution)
·         Utrecht Network Hospitality Grant (one per institution - ?250). 
This grant may be available to student without a work contract, and the 
course fee would be reduced accordingly.
 
The deadline for applications is Thursday 1 May 2014, and registration 
forms should be sent directly to the Programme Leader, Campbell McPherson 
(c.mcpherson at hull.ac.uk).  If you have any queries about the course please 
contact Campbell McPherson.
