<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The Open-Access journal Young Information Scientist (YIS) (<a href="https://yis.univie.ac.at">https://yis.univie.ac.at</a>) was founded in 2016 by the
<b>Association for the Promotion of Information Science (VFI) </b>and<b> </b>is currently published by the Association of Austrian Librarians (VÖB). YIS exclusively publishes long abstracts and summaries of theses and similar works in the field of library and
information science. All contributions undergo a double-blind peer-review process. There is no specific issue numbering within a given year; contributions are continuously published upon completion. For the 8th volume, we are seeking papers based on and summarizing
