These are to provide an opportunity for researchers from a range of institutions (both from the UK and beyond) who share interests in information behaviours and use:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>1. To forge new connections with one another, with a view towards possible future collaborations; 2. To consider research priorities in the domain, and seed ideas for future work, such as grant applications, publications, conference papers, events etc.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>The themes for discussion on the day will be determined in part by the delegates themselves through remote completion of a short pre-symposium exercise using the Well Sorted tool. The outputs of this short exercise will establish core interests of the group members in advance of meeting together on Thursday 22 June.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>The programme for the day itself begins with a keynote paper presented by Professor Simeon Yates, Director of the Institute of Cultural Capital in Liverpool. In 2016/17 Yates has led a global team on the ESRC-funded project 'Ways of being in a digital age'. Taking the form of a scoping review, 'Ways of being in a digital age' has addressed questions related to the role of digital technology in our lives, and the ways in which technological and social change co-evolve and impact on each other.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>The discussions which follow – with reference to the output of the pre-symposium exercise – will be facilitated by an international multidisciplinary team that includes:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>1.
