<p><b style=""> Invitation to the
Information Seeking in Context 2006
Doctoral
Workshop, 18 July 2006 <o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p>We invite doctoral students investigating aspects of information
behaviour, seeking and use to participate in the
Doctoral
Workshop held in conjunction with the conference on
Information Seeking in Context which will be on 19-21 July at the <st1:PlaceType
w:st="on">University</st1:PlaceType>
of <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Technology</st1:PlaceName>, <st1:City
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Sydney</st1:place></st1:City>. If you
are a doctoral supervisor, please encourage your students to apply. <b>The
deadline for receipt of
applications
is </b><strong>March 31, 2006. </strong><br>
</p>
<p>During the Workshop, doctoral students will be invited to share
their
current dissertation work-in-progress with their peers and with an
international panel of academic staff. <span style=""> </span>Criteria
for selection and the application process may be obtained from the ISIC
2006

<p>The doctoral workshop is free of charge and participants can attend
the
conference sessions for a discounted fee.<span style="">
</span>There will be a special poster session at the conference for
doctoral
workshop participants.<span style=""> </span>Note: doctoral
students who have submitted papers to the conference are also eligible
for the
workshop.</p>
