[NORSLIS] Save the date for SEASON in Lund 2027

[Olof Sundin]

Dear all,

We are happy to invite everyone to the next SEASON conference, which will be held in Lund, Sweden, from 15 to 17 September 2027. The call for abstracts will follow later this autumn.

Search Engines and Society Annual Conference (SEASON) brings together researchers and others interested in the diverse roles of search engines in today’s culture and society. After a series of workshops held across Europe, SEASON was set up in 2024 by a group of researchers from different fields and disciplines. Their goal is to highlight search engines as cultural, societal, and technological artifacts that increasingly effect many aspects of society across more and more domains, including politics, education, the economy, health, and the environment. The conference offers keynotes, panels, workshops, and networking opportunities. SEASON is also a community with its own newsletter: https://searchenginesandsociety.net
