Dear Norslis colleagues,

the new thematic issue 6(1) of Nordic Journal of Library and Information Studies, "Research on Reading in Nordic Library and Information Studies", guest edited by Gitte Balling, Åse Hedemark, Knut Oterholm and Kjell Ivar Skjerdingstad, has now been published. It includes four articles:

"Reading Promotion in Swedish Academic Libraries" by Kerstin Rydbeck, Lucía Camargo Rojas and Åse Hedemark.

"Läsning på recept: Kunskapspraktiker i läsfrämjande insatser för barn och föräldrar under 2000-talets första decennium" by Anna Lundh.

"Den dubbla läsaren: Inläsaren som läsare och litteraturförmedlare" by Julia Pennlert.

"A great reader takes pleasure in little else: Exploring leisure activities of readers and non-readers in Sweden" by Elisa Tattersall Wallin, Birgitta Wallin and David Gunnarsson Lorentzen.
