The postoc is placed at Lund University and funded by Swedish Research Council within the project “ Digital sårbarhet i den automatiserade välfärden: infrastrukturer, medborgarperspektiv och värderingar (Digital Vulnerabilities – DigVul<https://www.sh.se/forskning/var-forskning/forskningsdatabas/forskningsprojekt/digital-sarbarhet-i-den-automatiserade-valfarden>)”. The last day for application is 31 March, and the applicant must be able to understand Swedish, Norwegian or Danish.

In DigVul, a multidisciplinary approach is applied to study digitalized welfare in the areas of education, social services, healthcare and media. The postdoctoral fellow will work on an empirical project in the area of education. The education sector has an important role in ensuring digital competence in the population, including to protect young citizens against disinformation and promote digital citizenship, as well as prevent the vulnerability that disinformation creates for both society and its citizens. As a postdoctoral fellow, you will conduct research on how the education sector is affected by algorithms and artificial intelligence.

DigVul is funded by the Swedish Research Council and is led by Professor Anne Kaun at Södertörn University. The responsible researcher at Lund University is Professor Olof Sundin. As a postdoctoral fellow, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with them and other researchers working in the environment.
