> Submissions are now being accepted for a one-day research symposium co-hosted by the ASIS&T SIG-KM and ASIS&T to showcase the research efforts of KM scholars and practitioners. The event will include posters, short papers and dissertation talk categories. All Presentations will be virtual. The symposium is being co-sponsored by the University of North Texas Department of Information Science, University of Dhaka Department of Information Science and Library Management, and San Jose State University School of Information with no cost to the attendees. The Virtual Symposium will be held via Zoom on September 29, 2021.

> Scholars and practitioners at all levels are encouraged to submit their research, keeping in mind that the prompt is “Information, Language, and Power,” which is inclusive but not limited to information science, linguistics, learning technologies, digital humanities, data science and analytics, computer science, journalism, and sociology. > Posters: Provide posters about recently completed work, highly relevant early results of research-in-progress. Presenting a poster is a great way to get feedback on work that has not yet been published. We encourage presenting any late-breaking results. Please follow these guidelines for poster submission. Length: The maximum length for a poster submission, including title, abstract (not more than 250 words), references, and appendices, is 1,500 words. All citations and references should be in APA format. Please utilize ASIS&T poster. Final guidance will be sent with acceptance.

> Short Papers: Short papers should discuss, analyze, and critique theories and concepts, or report original and unpublished research. But this may also report work in progress.
> Length: The maximum length for a short paper, including title, abstract (not more than 250 words), references, and appendices, is 3,000 words. All citations and references should be in APA format. Please utilize ASIS&T poster. Final guidance will be sent with acceptance.

> Dissertation Talk: Students can give a talk on the principal results of their research. Event it can be the mid research and assessment presentation. Participants are suggested to submit a short abstract around 200 words. All citations and references should be in APA format. Please utilize ASIS&T poster. Final guidance will be sent with acceptance.
