[NORSLIS] Invitation to PhD course on Web indexing and retrieval

Advanced Course on PhD level on Web Indexing and Retrieval   (10 ECTS)

Venue: Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, Oslo, Norway

Time: May 21-25 (lectures and literature seminars) and June 17-18 (paper seminars)

The content of this doctoral study course is designed to all Nordic and Baltic library and information science (LIS) doctoral students that work with knowledge organization and information retrieval related issues, but also suitable for doctoral students in LIS in any other part of the world or in a related research area.

The emphasis lays on indexing and retrieval methods meant for the discovery of semantic entities on the web.

The course is delivered at the Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, Oslo, Norway, and it combines lectures and seminars on campus with independent studies of literature as well as with written submissions and oral presentations. The course is given in English.
