Dear Pertti,

We are emailing all past contributors to the symposium of Information  
Interaction in Context (IIiX) to extend an invitation to submit to  
IIiX 2014, which will be held in beautiful Regensburg, Germany next  
August (http://bit.ly/1fbXzlF).

IIiX has grown over the past few symposiums to become a fully-fledged  
conference, attracting over one hundred participants in 2012,with a  
doctoral consortium, tutorials and workshops.  Together with this  
positive growth, IIiX still maintains a creative, friendly and lively  
atmosphere and we would love to have you join us in 2014 to share your  
ideas.

The over-arching theme for IIiX 2014 is building bridges, so we are  
particularly interested in submissions that focus on or cross over the  
broad themes of interfaces, systems, behaviours and evaluation of  
information interactions in context.

To complement the excellent empirical research typically presented at  
IIiX, we wish to broaden the focus and discussion and specifically  
invite authors to consider submitting work that is reflective and  
experienced-based and/or conceptual and theoretical.  Full details of

And, of course, just like previous IIiX?s, there will be a great  
social programme in the world heritage town of Regensburg, including a  
welcome reception in a traditional German Beer Garden, a magical  
musical reception at the Cathedral, and dinner in a 14th century fine  
dining restaurant.
