[NORSLIS] Invitation to Open Seminar

ACADEMIC CAREERS UNDERSTOOD THROUGH MEASUREMENT AND NORMS
[cid:image003.png at 01CDFFAB.6E708210]We invite you to an open seminar on the subject of Research Evaluation, on the 8th of March 2013 at the Royal School of Library and Information Science, between 10.00am and 01.00pm. The seminar is in collaboration with the ACUMEN project. ACUMEN is a European research collaboration aimed at understanding the ways in which researchers are evaluated by their peers and by institutions, and at assessing how the science system can be improved and enhanced.
This FP7 project is a co-operation among nine European research institutes with
Professor Paul Wouters (CWTS - Leiden University) as principal investigator.



Seminar Theme
The theme of the seminar is how the performance of individual researchers is assessed. Please read more in the attached invitation.

Registration
Participation is free. The seminar is between 10.00am and 01.00pm. Tea, coffee and fruit will be provided. Lunch is not included. When you register please inform us if you wish to eat lunch at the canteen at the Royal School of Library and Information Science.
