       eSciDoc Days 2010, November 16-17, Copenhagen (Denmark)

The Max Planck Digital Library and FIZ Karlsruhe kindly invite you to

register for the eSciDoc Days 2010 which will take place on November 16-17,

hosted by The Royal Library in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

The eSciDoc Days are targeted at both existing eSciDoc users and

newcomers in the field of eResearch environments, publication infrastructure,

research data management and scholarly collaboration.

 

The registration is now open until October 15. The number of participantsis

limited.

 

The detailed program together with a registration form as well as further

information about the venue and accommodation options is now available at

www.escidoc.org.

The two day event with talks and workshops will provide extensive

information about eSciDoc, the Open Source eResearch Environment.

Talks at the 1st Day will demonstrate existing eSciDoc Applications and the

underlying eSciDoc Infrastructure as well as its future directions.

The 2nd day offers three parallel workshop tracks. The track

"Introduction to eSciDoc" familiarizes prospective users with eSciDoc and all 

its aspects.

The other two tracks offer hands-on tutorials for developers who require

deeper information about the features of the eSciDoc Infrastructure or intend 

to re-purpose existing eSciDoc Applications.

About the Max Planck Digital Library

 

The Max Planck Digital Library (MPDL) is a scientific service unit

within the

Max Planck Society (MPS). The MPDL is designing and developing software

infrastructure and applications in the domain of scientific information and

is responsible for providing the scientists of the Max Planck Institutes

with

all relevant electronic information resources such as journals or reference

databases. MPDL also supports MPS in its Open Access activities.
