Invitation to participate: Information Literacy Research Seminar 2010
at CoLIS 7
 
Junior and senior researchers are invited to participate in a seminar
on information literacy research. The seminar will take place on 23rd of
June 2010 within the context of the CoLIS7 conference, in London, UK. 
 
The seminar is intended to create opportunities for examining
information literacy research, theoretically, methodologically and
empirically. It aims at strengthening collaboration within   information
literacy research and to identify and to formulate areas for future
research.
 
The half-day research seminar will take the form of discussions
starting from presentations of participants’ past, on-going and/or
planned research. We are looking for work in progress rather than papers
ready for publication. The focus will be on discussions and the sharing
of ideas and experiences. 
 
The application should be submitted by May 3, 2010 to Anna Lundh
(anna.lundh at hb.se) and Ola Pilerot (ola.pilerot at hb.se). The seminar
will last half a day.

Note: The main CoLIS 7 conference also welcomes full paper submissions
on information literacy research related topics. The date for submission
of full papers to CoLIS 7 is 22 January 2010.
