Dear all

In connection with the stay of the Norslis Visiting Professor this year,
professor emeritus Michael Buckland from University of California, Berkeley,
I have the pleasure to invite all interested to participate in a workshop
chaired by Michael Buckland with the theme: "Document research on the road,
but in many directions !" so if you are having a document approach in your
research, please consider to come to Tromsø, when we have the pleasure of
having one of the pioneers in document research Michael Buckland,
http://people.ischool.berkeley.edu/~buckland/ as Visiting professor from
September 22-28, before he moves on to Uppsala in the following week,
participating in the Norslis course among onther activities.

As a workshop, we ask for short presentations, max. 20 minutes, on ideas and
work in progress in document research, potential material for a collection
of articles as a follow-up of our book from last year, "A document (re)turn"
Peter Lang 2007. Please send max 100 words about your proposal before August
15, 2008.

I believe several Nordic scholars have missed the DOCAM being in US, so now
you have a chance to get it closer to you.

Welcome to Tromsø in September for the first NORDIC DOCAM

and as the regular DOCAM meetings, it is a low budget format, so the
workshop will cost 150 NOK covering coffee and a small meal and you will be
mostly on your expense

best
Niels
