[NORSLIS] Recommended Research themes for an European Digital Library

Dear colleagues,
Sorry, my last mail was in Norwegian. Here is an English version.

In the fall of 2005 the European Commision made a call asking for important 
and necessary research and development themes in order to achieve an 
European Digital Library.

DELOS Network of Excellence (NoE) ( http://www.delos.info ) responded to 
the call and arranged a Brainstorming Meeting in Nice, December 5-6. 
Participants were invited from the Delos community, the TEL organization, 
EC representatives, representatives from USA and others.

We had a lively meeting as many interesting views and different objectives 
were represented.

The report from the meeting, giving recommendations on short term actions 
as well as long term visions, is sent to the EC, and is posted on the web:
