It is now time for register for the Document Research conference at
UC-Berkeley next month October 7-9 organized by the Document
Academy, an international collaborative initiative for document research.

The conference is growing quickly, number of papers are more than
doubled since the first DOCAM in 2003 so we have now 3 parts, a
general plenary session, a ph.d. session (increasing number of
ph.d.candidates in Document research) and three parallel workshops in
Artistic documents, Health care documents and document management.
Even if the conference becomes larger, we will try to keep the
informal and open atmosphere.

The program is here:
http://thedocumentacademy.hum.uit.no/docam05/DOCAM'05programv1.htm
Due to large number of papers, program may be rescheduled a bit.

List of accepted papers is here:
http://thedocumentacademy.hum.uit.no/events/List%20of%20accepted%20papers%20f.html

Registration can be done by following the instructions here
http://thedocumentacademy.hum.uit.no/sommerskole/inscription.html
(it is correct link, even if it is said "sommerskole" in the URL!!)

Our key-note speaker this year is coming from GSLIS, University of
Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA, professor W. Boyd Rayward, one of
the pioneers in Document Research worldwide, especially being the
historian of the different documentation movements throughout history.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to send me an email.
Please feel free to forward it to people, you think would be interested.
