EMBO is accepting entries for its sixth Award for Communication in the
Life<br>
Sciences. Presented annually to a life scientist in Europe, the award<br>
highlights the exceptional efforts made by many scientists to combine<br>
science communication activities with a full-time research career.<br>
<br>
We would like to invite interested scientists to apply for the award or
to<br>
inform other potential candidates. The conditions of entry and application<br>
form are available at: http://www.embo.org/awards/entries.html. The deadline<br>
for applications is 30 June 2007.<br>
<br>
The prize consists of a personal award of 5,000 Euro and a handcrafted<br>
medal. EMBO also nominates winners for the European Commission's Descartes<br>
Prize for Science Communication. The winner in 2006 was Armand Marie Leroi<br>
