Dear Fellow Researcher,
The 16S rRNA gene is highly conserved across almost all known species and 
thus is well suited as a target gene for sequencing DNA in complex 
biological samples. Recently, next-gen sequencing has been applied as a 
comprehensive method of identification, classification and quantitation of 
microbes within various sample types such as environmental samples (ex. 
soil) and gut samples (ex. human gut microbiome). 
LC Sciences and Norgen Biotek will be conducting a free informational 
webinar describing this approach and presenting a few application 
examples.
