Scientific Symposium on Bacteriocins, Antimicrobial Proteins and Peptides
- June 2010

Place:            Kosice, Slovakia
Chair:            Andrea Laukova

The programme of the Scientific Symposium on Bacteriocins, Antimicrobial
Proteins and Peptides will focus on the developments in the science,
research and application of bacteriocins, antimicrobial proteins and
peptides.
Current advances in isolation, characterization and application of
bacteriocins, antimicrobial proteins and peptides will be presented.
Internationally renowned experts from industry and academia will discuss
the mechanisms of action and the role of bacteriocins in food safety.
It is the goal of the symposium to further explore the potential of
already known and novel bacteriocins, antimicrobial proteins and peptides
by disseminating latest results and presenting new ways of the research in
these fields.
Further to its scientific content the symposium is a networking event.
Abstracts of oral presentations and posters will be published in the
official proceedings of IPC2010.
