The EMBO Courses and Workshops Programme funds high-quality scientific
meetings, promoting collaborations and exchange in the latest molecular
biology advances. If you are interested in applying to run an EMBO funded
meeting (practical courses, workshops, conference series and lecture courses),
our next deadline to apply for EMBO funding is: 1 February 2009.

EMBO Practical Courses
EMBO offers funding for the organisation of practical courses to provide
young researchers with advanced training in cutting-edge techniques.

EMBO Workshops
EMBO Workshops network scientists from different fields, promoting
high-level discussion on common themes and the exchange of
cross-disciplinary results.

EMBO Conference Series
EMBO invites organisers to apply for funding for meetings that would
benefit from a conference series approach. Successful applicants will
receive support for a series of up to three conferences to be held over a

Joint EMBO-FEBS Lecture Courses
Funding is available for the organisation of EMBO-FEBS Lecture Courses on
timely topics in all areas of biochemistry and molecular biology. Courses
are to be held in any country of a FEBS constituent society (
http://www.febs.org) or EMBC Member State (http://www.embo.org/embc).
N.B. A free ?HelpDesk? service is provided by EMBO to assist all
organisers with their meeting posters, websites and online
application/registration.
