Don't miss out on this exceptional conference & festival where
Nordic heritage of music & dance will be presented through
exciting concerts and shows performed by 120 artists, more than
40 lectures and 16 workshops, creating an exiting mix of artistic
expressions, theoretical manifestations and personal
negotiations.
The conference registration for Tradition for Tomorrow has been
extended till July 15th 2014!

till June 23rd!
Conference Schedule: Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd: Morning
sessions will run from 09:00 -12:30; afternoon sessions will run
from 13:30-17:00. Saturday 23rd: Morning sessions will run from
10:30-12:30; afternoon sessions will run from 13:30-15:40.
Festival: Tradition for Tomorrow will commence with the Gala show
at the Beautiful Cultural Center Hof, Wednesday at 20:00, where
you will experience an impressive array of Nordic music & dance
traditions. From Thursday till Saturday, afternoon till after
midnight, you can choose to visit several different venues,
ranging from intimate settings at bars and cafés to large
concert-and dancehalls, and enjoy some of the finest Nordic folk
music & dance.
Exhibition: During Tradition for Tomorrow there will be an
exhibition at Akureyri's Cultural Centre Hof, where you can enjoy
and purchase for example Icelandic handcrafts, Nordic
instruments, folk music CDs and books. Naust has one wall of
clear glass windows and doors, providing fabulous view over the
fjord to the south.
