SCIENCE TRIP to the Icelandic Institute of Natural History<br>
<br>
The Science trip: we will get a good introduction on the institute and a peak into their diverse ongoing research projects. A little bit for everything: environmental monitoring, geology, geography, biology and chemistry. This should be interesting for all associations.<br>
Date & time: Friday 1st of March 2 o´clock<br>
Number of seats: 15 per. association<br>
Address: Urriðaholtsstæti 6-8 (close to IKEA)<br>
How to get there by bus (total 30 minutes):<br>
kl.13:29 bus 3 from the University bus stop (Hringbraut), people in Læknagarður can hop on at the bus stop Landspítalinn, Gamla-Hringbraut.<br>
kl.13:52 bus 21 from Mjódd to IKEA, walk from there to the institute.<br>

BOWLING COMPETITION between the associations<br>
Flóki, Folda, Gaia and Helix/Komplex<br>
<br>
The competition: we have reserved total 8 lanes, each association<br>
gets two lanes to play for 55 minutes and the members will throw the<br>
ball in exchange. Remember this is not a individual competition but a<br>
competition between associations so show up with good team spirit<br>
and may the best bowling association team win!<br>
<br>
Number of seats: two lanes per association, all members can<br>
participate and cheer!<br>
<br>
Place: Keiluhöllin Öskjuhlíð<br>
<br>
Date&Time: Friday 1st of March meeting at 5 o´clock, competition starts at 5:30!<br>
<br>
Costs: 9000kr for two lanes for each association. The lanes will be prepaid by each association. So the members within each association will split the cost between them later for the two lanes (might be around 700-900kr per.person depending on how many show up).<br>
<br>
Food: after the competition we are going to have pizza at the bowling bar. If you want pizza you have to pay for it in advance by transferring 1170kr (incl. 2 pizza slices and big soda) or 1500kr (incl. 2 pizza slices and one big beer) before 25th of February to Flóki´s account: 0301-26-004403, kt.440311-0320 and leave your name in explanations of the payment.<br>

Bus 21 from IKEA to Mjódd - Bus 3 from Mjódd to Landspítalinn - Bus 19 from Landspítalinn to the Bowling hall<br>

We want to remind you that 1st of March is a special day in Iceland, it has then been 24 years since the<br>
beer was legal again (was prohibited in the years 1915-1989). It is therefore a tradition to celebrate the beer day<br>
the 1st of March. After the BOWLING competition we would like to go with you all and<br>
celebrate the BEER DAY together at Stúdentakjallarinn. See you there!<br>
