[Folda] Request for a guide and driver for a trip to Hekla

A request was put in for a guide and driver for a trip to Hekla. This would
take place next summer. It seems that a van would need to be rented and
perhaps a driver obtained if your license does not allow you to operate
anything larger than an 8 person car.

Svandish, this is out of the blue! I've bringing a small group of seven
people to Iceland next summer and am looking for a graduate student who
knows Hekla well and who would like to be hired to drive us part way up and
guide us on a hike of about an hour and a  half on a scenic part of the
slope. The person needs to have a car that fits us all in,which we can meet
at either the turn-off from the Ring Riad or at Leirubakki parking lot.If
you know someone,we can figure out the price. I've led small groups to
Iceland several times before and have had no luck going through the
manager/owner at Leirubakki,strange to say. Jeannie Hanson
