Icelandic highlands this September and they need assistance from graduate

I don't know if you have elected new chairman and board members for the
student association but hopefully you can help us out.

Below is an email from a group making a 3D IMAX documentary film and they
need assistance from graduate or undergraduate students in earth sciences.
The offer the opportunity to get to Kerlingafjöll and other locations for
few periods in September. All expences paid but they are not able to pay
the students directly (I have already asked ;-)). Can you send this out to
your email list or use your Facebook page? It would be best if people
interested could be in direct contact with Matt since we don't have much
time ahaed.

Hi Freysteinn,

As I mentioned our 3D IMAX documentary film 'Earth Story’, explores the
evolution of Earth from stardust to a planet that can sustain life. It
takes the audience on a journey with a team of geologists through Iceland
to explore the exciting geothermal landscape. The story in the rock can
tell us so much about the world around us and the amazing story of this
planet that eventually led to us.

We will be filming throughout September in the highlands and Southern
Iceland. The scenes will be set amongst various locations that hold
scientific relevance. We will have the student form part of the geology
team on screen, partaking in the onsite observations. Our geologists are
currently working in the research area of geyserite.

I would appreciate your help with contacting any undergraduate or graduate
students, either Icelandic or foreign student, that are available and
interested in participating in the film. I’m sure there would be a wealth
of education in the experience with our geology team. All expenses such as
accommodation, travel and meals will be covered.

Locations include: Kerlingarfjoll and locations around Southern Iceland.

Currently we expect 2 days between the 2nd and 5th September, 2-3 days
between the 6th and 12th September and 2-3 days between the 19th - 30th
September.
