[Folda] Of Spring Formals, Science Trips, and Surtsey

Dear Folda,

The date is set, the place is reserved, so the time has come to make the 
big announcement. This year's Spring Formal will be held on *March 28th* 
at*7 pm* in the Flugvirkjafélags Íslands Salur, *Borgatún 22*. Tickets 
will be *5500 kr* and their sale will begin soon. Seats are limited and 
admission will be on a first-come-first-serve so keep a heads up for 
when the tickets go on sale. There will be a dinner buffet, games, 
entertainment, prizes, and more.

This week we have another science trip to Loftmyndir. Once again, all we 
know is that seats are limited to 20 people. So, sign up will begin on 
Wednesday at 12 noon. If you are interested, just send a reply to 
dagbarisas at gmail.com <mailto:dagbarisas at gmail.com> to register. More 
information as it becomes available.

This Thursday at 12:15 pm will be a very special showing of the Lost 
Footage of the eruption of Surtsey and lecture by the films creator. 
Stop on by the 3rd Geology Lounge for this phenomenal presentation.
