HELCOM Youth Forum 10. – 12. December 2012

in this E-mail you will find two links to the HELCOM Youth Forum which
will be held in Rostock (Germany) this year. We would kindly ask you to
circulate this information to colleagues and students with interest in
this matter or to contact qualified students directly.

By performing Youth Forums, HELCOM is raising youth’s attention by
actively involving students into HELCOM-processes. The HELCOM Youth
Forum 2012 is organized by Baltic Sea Forum in co-operation with the
Dept. Maritime Systems at the University of Rostock, and is financially
support by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature
Conservation and Nuclear Safety and the German Federal Environment
Agency.

The application process has recently begun. We seek for postgraduate
students with Bachelor’s or comparable degree. The applicants should
have a maritime focus in natural sciences, law, engineering, economic or
social sciences and should be interested in Baltic Sea affairs and in a
sustainable future development of the Baltic Sea Region. We aim at
recruiting approx. 5 students per country. Costs for travel and
accommodation will be refunded.
