to coastal erosion in the EU" Viðey an example to learn from.

Abstact
Islands are fragile landforms when it comes to sea level rise. Minor
changes in eustatic sea level can affect their erosion rate. Viðey is a
small island in Kollafjörður few hundred meters from the harbor area in
Reykjavík. The geomorphology and location of Viðey makes it great research
area for a micro analysis of the interaction between sea and land. Coastal
vulnerability index (CVI) is a method that was created to measure the
vulnerability of coastlines. The index consists of 5-6 variables, coastal
geomorphology, coastal slope, shoreline change, mean spring tide range, and
significant wave height. These variables are ranked from 1-5 and calculated
by using Spatial Join in Analysis toolbox in ArcGis by overlaying each
variables. In this study the CVI is used to measure likely changes, erosion
and accretion, of Viðey and to create a database for the use of CVI on
other small island.

This happening will take place on the third floor of Askja at 12-13 in the
meeting room from the earth science.
