Remember the annual meeting on Thursday in the petrology room on 2nd floor
at 12:20!
There will be soda and snacks :D

Aðalfundur Foldu verður haldinn í bergfræðistofunni í hádeginu kl 12:20 þann
28. apríl, farið verður yfir starf ársins.

Dagskrá:

1. Skýrsla stjórnar.
2. Stjórnin leggur fram reikninga félagsins.
3. Umræður um skýrslur og reikninga.
4. Lagabreytingar
5. Kosning stjórnar fyrir næsta starfsár.
6. Hin nýkjörna stjórn tekur formlega við völdum.
7. Skipun deildarfulltrúa. Skulu þeir skipaðir til eins árs.
8. Önnur mál.

Kosið verður um breytingar á lögum Foldu, þau finnast á heimasíðunni
folda.hi.is (sem verður einmitt uppfærð í sumar)
Ef þið hafið einhverjar athugasemdir um lögin eða viljið á einhvern hátt
láta breyta þeim, hafið þá samband við okkur að minnsta kosti 2 dögum fyrr
því auglýsa þarf möguegar lagabreytingar með fyrirvara. Athugið að 2/3 hluta
atkvæða þarf til að samþykkja lagabreytingatillögur.

Eftir að lagabreytingar hafa verið samþykktar eða þeim synjað munum við
kjósa til nýrrar stjórnar Foldu.
Embættin  sem í boði eru (lýsingar úr lögunum):

FORMAÐUR:
Er andlit félagsins og ábyrgðarmaður. Hann skal gegna embætti fundarstjóra á
stjórnarfundum. Hann sér um samskipti við önnur nemandafélög, deildir og
önnur embætti innan Háskóla Íslands. Formaður er sjálfskipaður inní Náttverk
sem er hagsmunafélag verkfræði og náttúruvísindasviðs.

RITARI / VARAFORMAÐUR:
Sér um að skrá helstu atriði stjórnarfunda og aðrar bréfaskriftir fyrir hönd
Foldu. Hann sér um póstfang Foldu eða folda at hi.is <fjallid at hi.is>. Auk þess
sem hann gegnir hlutverki formanns í fjarveru hans. Ritari og einn annar
stjórnarmeðlimur (í samráði við ritara) ákveða hverjir skoða póst
nemendafélagsins. Ritari sér um að skipuleggja fyrirlestraröð Foldu, hin
svokölluðu fimmtudagserindi.

GJALDKERI:
Sér um öll fjármál félagsins, bókhald, innkaup, útgjöld, umsóknir styrkja og
annað sem að því kemur. Gjaldkeri verður að hafa náð 20 ára aldri.

MEÐSTJÓRNANDI:
Aðstoðar formann, ritara og gjaldkera eftir bestu getu.

MEÐSTJÓRNANDI OG FULLTRÚI ERLENDRA NEMA:
Aðstoðar formann, ritara og gjaldkera eftir bestu getu auk þess að vera
tengiliður við erlenda nema.

VARAMENN:
Eru tveir og aðstoða stjórn eingöngu þegar á þarf að halda.


Þið hafið sem sagt fram til miðvikudagsins 27. apríl til að bjóða ykkur fram
í þessu ýmsu embætti. Áhugasamir sendi póst á smh5 at hi.is <fjallid at hi.is> og
þar að auki getið þið boðið ykkur fram á sjálfum fundinum.

Atkvæði eru greidd með handauppréttingum nema 1 eða fleiri meðlimir fara
fram á leynilega atkvæðagreiðslu og þá verða þau skrifuð á miða.

Dear Folda!

Folda's annual meeting will be held in the petrology room (second floor,
west end og Askja) at 12:20 the 28th of April, we will review the work of
this year.

The program:

1. The boards report.
2. The boards financial report.
3. Discussion of reports.
4. Changes in Folda's regulations.
5. Voting of the new board.
6. The new board gets the keys.
7. The new officer for the department chosen. Chosen for one year at a
time.
8. Other discussions.


We will vote on changes in Folda's regulations, you can find them on our web
pages, folda.hi.is (which will be updated this summer by the way)
For now, the regulations are only in Icelandic. If you want to add something
to the regulations, or if you've got any comments, please contact us before
at least two days before because changes need to be announced beforehand.
2/3 of the votes are needed to accept new regulations or changes in
regulations.

After the regulatory changes have been accepted or declined we will vote on
Folda's new board for next school year.
The positions available are (descriptions from Fjallið's regulations).

CHAIRMAN:
Is the front of the student group and the guarantor as well as the chairman
on the board's meetings. Oversees relations with other student groups,
departments and positions within the University of Iceland. The chairman is
automatically positioned in Náttverk, students' interest group in the
Faculty of Engineering and Earth Sciences.

SECRETARY / VICE CHAIRMAN:
Keeps an account of what's being discussed on the board's meetings and
oversees messages from the board. Oversees Folda's email address,
folda at hi.is <fjallid at hi.is>. The secretary also replaces the chairman when
absent. The secretary and any other board member (with the secretary's
consent) decide who can view the student group's mail inbox. The secretary
organizes the Folda lecture sequence, the so called Thursday lectures.

TREASURER:
Oversees all of the student group's financial aspects, such as book-keeping,
purchases, payments, grant applications and more. The treasurer has to have
reached the age of 20.

BOARD MEMBER:
Helps the chairman, secretary and treasurer the best way he/she can.

BOARD MEMBER AND FOREIGN STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE:
*Helps the chairman, secretary and treasurer the best way he/she can and is
the boards link to foreign students at the department.*

*There are two substitutes, which help the board only when needed**.*

You have until Wednesday the 27th of April to run for these positions. Those
interested email to smh5 at hi.is <fjallid at hi.is>. You can also run for the
positions during the meeting.

The votes are cast by raising of the hands unless 1 or more want secrecy and
then the votes will by written on paper.
