[English] Buffalo - The Canadian Embassy

It's due time for the first buffalo of this semester. Next Friday
we'll be visiting the Canadian embassy. We'll meet with the ambassador
who will enlighten us about many things Canadian, so if you have any
questions regarding the country or the embassy, please don't be afraid
to ask.

The buffalo itself will start at 15.15, and as always, you sign up via
email, bog at hi.is, with your name and phone number.
Please remember to be on time, as it is frowned upon to be late, and
also, as the doors to the embassy will be closed when the buffalo
starts.

To those of you who just started in the English department this
semester, you can buy a BOG card for 2000 krónur. The card gives you
free entrance to all of our buffaloes, as well as discounts to several
places, all of which can be seen on our BOG page, which is currently
under construction. Apologies for that.
If you would like a card you can send us an email with your name,
kennitala and phone number, and you can place your payment to the BOG
bank account. The account number is 525-26-1529 and the kennitala is
570990-1529. If you do this please send a receipt to bog at hi.is.

Please note that if you have not paid for a card by Friday, you will
have to pay 500 krónur for the buffalo.
